Whoever can spend the most money to acquire new customers, wins!

At first I was like, wut?

Kung hindi ka pala milyonaryo or bilyonaryo wala kang chance to win this game?

Eh paano na lang yung mga hampaslupang tulad ko na walang ganung kalaking ad budget to spend sa ads?

So if you are someone that just starting out sa business mo, mapapaisip ka na mukhang wala kang chance to compete with other businesses na milyones ang budget sa ads.

But it turns out, it's not true!

Pwede ka palang makipag compete with big brands by making sure your ads stands out from the crowd.

Still skeptical? Here's the proof:

Facebook Ads Manager

Total Ad Spent: P14,388.81

Date Range: September 1, 2023 - February 29, 2024

Impressions: 8,113,463

CPM: P1.77

Imagine that, I was able to get 8 million impressions (view-through) by just paying P1.77 for every 1,000 impressions.

But wait, you are optimizing for Daily Unique Reach so natural mababa talaga ang CPM nyan.

Exactly!

That's what I am trying to buy, the (CPM) Cost Per 1,000 Impressions. I want my ads to show to more people at a very affordable price.

You have to understand that the first metric na binabayaran mo kay Facebook is the CPM.

Then the Cost Per Click follows, then the Cost Per Video Views, Cost Per Landing Page Views, Cost Per Purchase and so on.

Are we supposed to bid for click-throughs?

We want them to click on the link right? Yes, tama ka naman.

But the problem with that is, masyadong mahal ang CPM. Marami kang competitors who are also bidding in the same interest or demographics targeting.

Na experience mo na rin ba ito? "Learning Limited'?

Facebook Learning Limited Explained

Yung tipong may winning ad set ka naman na nagpe-perform using a much lower budget tapos biglang magiging orange na sya that says, "learning limited".

You don't know what to do, ano nga ba ang gagawin ko. Scale ko na ba ito using the vertical scaling method, or perhaps horizontal scaling method?

Teka, nangyari na ito before eh, once nag scale ako ng 20% budget increase every 2-3 days sumasabay din yung cost per result na tumaas.

Stressful, very depressing! Hahaha!

Relate ba?

That's because Facebook is no longer capable of giving you more people to convert within the same pool of audience and you are competing against advertisers in the next Tier na mas mataas na rin yung bid sa auction.

Meaning, na saturate mo na yung Tier 1 audience showing your ads to the same people who are no longer interested what you have to offer kaya lumalabas yung learning limited.

Hindi mo ba napapansin, kahit 10 million yung audience size mo, only a couple of thousands lang ang nare-reach ng ads mo.

Paano nga ba ito i-fix?

Sabi ni Meta, this is how you troubleshoot in order to improve performance:

Troubleshoot Facebook Learning Limited

You see?

Pay attention doon sa pangatlo at pang apat: Raise your bid or cost control. If your bid or cost control is too low to receive around 50 optimization events, the ad set is unlikely to exit the learning phase.

Ang gusto ni Facebook na mangyari is in order for that ad set to exit sa learning phase kailangan magkaroon sya ng 50 conversion events which is suntok sa buwan if you have a very low budget.

Gumawa ako ng step-by-step guide on how you can test and scale your campaigns without burning thousands of pesos sa testing pa lang.

The budget requirement is at least 5,000 pesos for the whole month para meron kang enough data na pwede mong gamitin for the second month.

This strategy is best for those na maraming oras to test their campaigns, kung nagmamadali ka to get faster results at marami ka namang pera na pwedeng sunugin sa ads, this strategy is not for you.
