Hi, I'm Clarence Gil, I'm glad you're here.

I am from the province of Catanduanes, a proud "promdi".

I graduated from college with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Hotel Restaurant Management (HRM).

​

Dahil bobo ako sa math, yan na lang yung kinuha ko kahit hindi ko gusto.

​

Basta ang gusto ko lang is makatapos ng college at makapasok sa isa sa mga offices sa Ortigas or Makati kahit anong trabaho basta naka long sleeve at necktie.

Ganun lang kababaw ang pangarap ko as simpleng probinsyano.

After college, I started working as:

​

• Busboy sa isang hotel

• Service Crew (OFW in Dubai)

• Medical Representative

• Life Insurance Agent

• Car Sales Agent

• Sales & Marketing Manager

• Sales Executive

​

Most of my corporate career is in sales, then I got burned out!

​

Nakita ko kung paano magtanggal ng tao kahit manager ka na ng isang kumpanya.

​

It scared the shit out of me!

​

I asked myself, paano kung tumanda na ako at bigla akong tanggalin sa kumpanya may mapapasukan pa kaya akong trabaho ngayong matanda na ako?

​

Sabi ko sa sarili ko, hindi ako yayaman dito. I need to get out of this and the time is now!

​

So I started my first business venture (a rolling store business) but I failed miserably!

​

Wala pang isang taon na bankrupt na ako.

​

Yung pinahiram sa akin na capital ng Mom ko nalusaw na parang bula.

​

I was ashamed to go back to the corporate world because ayaw kong makita ng mga friends ko na nag fail ako sa business na pinasok ko.

​

I tried selling life insurance this time huwag lang ako bumalik sa pagiging medrep.

​

I failed again!

​

Naghanap ako ng ibang industry at nakapasok ako as car sales executive sa isang kilalang car dealer.

​

It was fulfilling for quite some time and for some reason nawala yung momentum ko to start my own business.

​

Then shit happens again!

​

I got burned out!

​

I searched the internet "How To Make Money Online" and ang daming lumabas na results.

​

I started exploring affiliate marketing Clickbank, JV Zoo, Amazon, eCommerce, Virtual Assistant, at kung ano ano pang online opportunity.

​

I was overwhelmed sa dami ng information.

​

I created my first website and akala ko noon kikita na ako ng malaki kase may website na ako.

​

Hindi ko alam na kailangan ko pala mag drive ng traffic sa website ko in order to generate sales.

​

Then I came across an ad on Facebook and it was a defining moment for me na this is something I want to pursue and learn if I want to get out of the corporate world.

​

Na realize ko na hindi ko kayang matutunan lahat kaya nag focus lang ako sa isang skill which is Facebook ads.

​

Long story short, I got my first local client and eventually I managed to get more international clients and have spent more than $2 million dollars throughout the course of my career.

​

I've launched my own advertising agency and I am now earning more than I was earning in the corporate world.

​

My ultimate goal is to help aspiring freelancers and entrepreneurs jumpstart their online businesses and that's the very reason why I started the Digital Homie Academy.
